The Central Library is located in downtown Fort Worth at the intersection of third and Lamar, two blocks West and two blocks South of the Tarrant County Courthouse. It is served by bus routes 1, 4, 10 and 46. Free WiFi is available at the branch, in addition to many interesting collections and services in English and en Espanol.

      04/02/12- 06/28/12	USS Fort Worth: The City's First Ship Exhibit Fort Worth Library - Central Branch USS Fort Worth: The City's First Ship Exhibit Presented by Fort Worth Library at Fort Worth Library - Central Branch April 2-June 28, 2012 The USS Fort Worth (LCS-3) is a new United States Naval vessel. The Littoral Combat Ship is the first to be named after the city of Fort Worth. The exhibit contains mementos pertaining to the ship, such as boots, newspapers, photographs and a model. The exhibit is made possible by the USS Fort Worth Christening and Commissioning Committee.
