About the artist:

I am an artist and teacher. I have been teaching for over 20 years but I have been creating art all my life. My art often reflects what is happening in the world today. I enjoy using vibrant colors and strong contrast in my abstract work. In my portraits I try to capture both the likeness and the spirit of my subject. My work is highly personal and I put a piece of my soul in every piece.
