What is WorthGoing.com?
WorthGoing.com is a comprehensive online resource for Arts and Entertainment information for the Greater Fort Worth area. It offers the largest local database of area events, including arts, sports, family, western heritage and recreational events in an easy, searchable site. Additional listings of organizations, venues, public art, and individual artists are also included.

Administered by the Arts Council of Fort Worth & Tarrant County, the site is powered by Silicon Valley's highly successful Artsopolis Marketing Network, with public event content management provided by Seattle's BeDynamic, Inc.

Why WorthGoing.com?
It's simple. Whether you are a long-time resident, a recent arrival or a welcome visitor, we want YOU to be able to experience firsthand the Arts and Creativity of North Texas. We want you to get out and see a show, visit an exhibit, take your family or friends to a festival... basically, get out there and discover all the amazing things happening throughout our community! And if you're a visitor, we hope you'll find plenty of reasons to stay an extra day or two and see why North Texas is such a great place to spend some time.

By providing you with comprehensive information about what to do and where to go for unique cultural experiences, we hope to inspire greater participation in this broad range of events and activities. Fort Worth is the city of Cowboys and Culture – get out and enjoy it!

Who is behind WorthGoing.com?
WorthGoing.com is managed and maintained by the Arts Council of Fort Worth & Tarrant County (a registered 501c3 nonprofit agency) whose mission is to create an environment that promotes, nurtures and supports the arts in our community.

Our charge has been to find creative ways to strengthen the arts community and bring new audiences to the arts through strong partnerships within our greater community. Today’s Arts Council is a dynamic, multi-faceted, arts agency serving artists, arts organizations and the community with programs that help shape the arts and that have a significant impact on the quality of life in Fort Worth
Our partners in WorthGoing.com include the Amon Carter Foundation, the Sid Richardson Foundation, the Scott Foundation and the Fort Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau.
