Arts Council of Fort Worth & Tarrant County

In 1963 the Arts Council was formed to provide funding and leadership to stimulate and assure the advancement of the arts throughout the community. Today's Arts Council is a dynamic, multi-faceted, arts agency serving artists, arts organizations and the community with programs that help shape the arts and that have a significant impact on the quality of life in Fort Worth.

Arts Council programs address three main areas:

- advocating for and funding local arts organizations through a competitive grants program;
- providing first class public art services, enhancing the visual environment of the city; and
- managing the Community Arts Center as an affordable and accessible venue for artists arts organizations, and the community as a whole.

By identifying and addressing the needs of the arts community and of the community at large, the Arts Council is positioned to serve its constituents ably and well.

Funding for Arts Council grants comes from individuals, corporate and foundation donors, as well as the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County and Texas Commission on the Arts.

	Tell-a-friend Fort Worth Convention Center and Arena The Fort Worth Convention Center (formerly known as the Tarrant County Convention Center), is a convention center and indoor arena in Fort Worth, Texas. It includes an 11,200-seat multi-purpose arena. The Fort Worth Convention Center spans 14 blocks of the city's Central Business District. The city purchased the facility from Tarrant County in 1997 and has transformed the venue into a 21st Century Convention and event showcase. The Convention Center hosts a wide range of events including: conventions, conferences, corporate meetings, sporting events, concerts, trade shows, banquets and consumer shows.
	Tell-a-friend Will Rogers Memorial Center Will Rogers Memorial Center is located in the heart of Fort Worth's Cultural District. The Center includes Will Rogers Coliseum, Auditorium, Equestrian Center and Amon G. Carter Exhibits Building. The center attracts in excess of two million people a year as host of an extensive variety of cultural, equestrian and recreational events.
	Tell-a-friend Hotel Association of Tarrant County (HATC) The Hotel Association of Tarrant County advocates for our members through idea exchange, community involvement, government interaction and resource development, and we give all our members the platform to get thier voices heard, no matter how large or how small.
