Fossil Rim Wildlife Center

Fossil Rim is the first facility of its kind to have been accredited by the American Zoo and Aquarium Association. Fossil Rim Wildlife Center participates in a worldwide network of wildlife conservation organizations working to restore the delicate balance between people, animals and the environment. Fossil Rim Wildlife Center represents over 1000 animals, 50 species of native and non-native animals living peacefully at the 1,700-acre center.

They will specifically focus on the park's mission of conservation of our animals. You will have the opportunity to learn about Fossil Rim's mission and what they do to save endangered species, while also discovering how you too can save endangered species. At the conclusion of the program you will even be able to meet some of their endangered friends while on a tour of the park.

After the digs, they will take you on a guided tour through the Game Preserve, where the giraffes and zebra live, and up to Cheetah Hill.

What better way to enjoy the cool air and turning leaves than to carve pumpkins for Fossil Rim Wildlife Center's animals? In this program you will have the opportunity to carve pumpkins and watch as they are given to their animals at the Children's animal center. The pumpkins serve as enrichment items and snacks in order to keep the animals active and healthy.
