Since its founding at Thorp Spring, Texas, in 1873, Texas Christian University has embraced performances in the Fine Arts as adjuncts to regular studies in the Liberal Arts. Building upon this tradition, TCU Department of Theatre's mission is to provide the highest quality artistic and academic theatre education in a liberal arts environment, foster excellence in creative theatre production and research, and contribute to the cultural enrichment of a global society.
