A young girl's coming of age story composed of live autobiographical vignettes that begin with her premature birth and end with her first solo performance in her church's junior choir. Whispering secrets, imitating the people of her life and even bursting into song, the author fills the stage with giddy laughter, haunting memories, and the pure joy of innocence.
