The prodigiously talented Conrad Tao gave his first recital at age 4, and hasn’t looked back since, appearing worldwide as a pianist and composer. Past honors and awards include being named a Presidential Scholar in the Arts by The White House, and receiving both the YoungArts gold medal from the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts and an Avery Fisher Career Grant. Mr. Tao performs recitals in Europe and throughout the United States with repertoire ranging from Bach to Frederic Rzewski to Rachmaninoff to Julia Wolfe. Past notable symphonic engagements have included the San Francisco, Baltimore, Toronto, St. Louis, and Detroit Symphony Orchestras, and he maintains a close relationship with the Aspen Music Festival, as well as Ravinia Festival and the Mostly Mozart Festival.
